No our electric model thermostats have an interference suppressing capacitor across the output relay contacts this passes a small current when the output is off.
This current could keep certain types of actuator open or slow down the closing process.
It can also affect wiring centres which include relays such as our uh2 where it can cause a quiet buzzing noise.
Hi hope you can help
i purchased a DS1-E thermostat with probe for a small electric underfloor heat mat, I am getting about 10kohms on the prob so I assume it's ok the mat is ok i have had it joint through and it heats up but when the stat is connected up a green light on the stat comes on but no heat and the dial does nothing, the instructions are quite vague it doesn't say what the lights indicte or what readings the probe should be or any trouble shooting I have also had the dip switches
