    RF Switch to boiler connectivity

could you help me provide some instructions for my installer to connect my new Heatmiser NeoAir kit with my new Worcester Bosch 38CDi. He is unfamiliar with the Heatmiser devices.   With the 38CDi I also have 3 zone valves to control heating in different rooms. so I have bought a Neo Airkit and 2 additional RF switches. I think I will just need to wire in the CH channel in each RF switch, and not the HW channel; is that correct?  One thing that confuses me in the wiring diagram in the instructions for the RF switch is the

    Limitations of Windows phone app

Alan Wright · 4 replies · Last reply by Heatmiser

Is sharing with another user supported on the Windows phone app?  I have just got a Windows phone and sharing is greyed out.

What are the other limitations of the Windows phone app compared to iOS and Android?

Why doesn't the Windows phone app have all the functionality?

Adam Simmonds · 2 replies · Last reply by Heatmiser

Am I missing something? Where is the manual for the neoApp? I've been looking all over the place but can't find it. Or am I supposed to play with the app and work it out for myself? (Because I've tried and still can't suss it fully).

    No connection

James Flitton · 1 reply · Last reply by Heatmiser

I'm trying to connect the neoHub to the heatmiser app by following the 'adding a location' instructions. It fails everytime. Any ideas? The neoHub itself displays the Power light in Red, Link light is Green but Status LED is not on. Could the router be blocking it?

Mobile is on Wi-Fi and the same network as the box

    NeoHub - a backward step?

    R M Crorie · 3 replies · Last reply by Wayne Man

Having installed a Heatmiser NetMonitor V3 for use with our Slimline PRT thermostats a few years ago, I was interested to see what our options were to "upgrade"... but have found that, far from improving, Heatmiser products have taken a retrograde step.

Signalling from Neo thermostats is now wireless even though they still switch zone actuators via the UFH-1 via the previous 4-wire cabling system - thus moving from a 100% reliable method to one that is subject to the uncertainties of an RF comms system (yes, I know it's a mesh system...).

Worse, whilst appreciating that not everyone

How does the profile function work on the neoApp

Heatmiser · 1 reply · Last reply by Heatmiser

Profiles are a stored set of heating comfort levels assigned to a number of zones. These settings are stored in the neoHub.

When you activate the profile, the stored settings are sent to the neoStat assigned to the profile.

Can I share recipes to my other devices

    Heatmiser · 0 replies · Posted

Recipes are setup and stored locally on your smart device, therefore they can't be shared to other users. The intention is users can setup the recipes that best suit them.

    Heatmiser Neo

Randal MacRandal · 1 reply · Last reply by Heatmiser

OK> All I want to do is turn the heating back on when the timer has switched it off but, for the love of me, I can't fathom it. It's a brand new installation for us and there is little that, for my money, can be intuitively followed from the screen prompts or options or even the little instruction manual.

Using the App in another country

Jeanette Murck · 1 reply · Last reply by Heatmiser

We have a house in Germany with the heatmiser installed. In Germany the app is working perfectly. In the Netherlands (where we live) we can see the temperature sinking, but we cannot setup anything. So it is impossible to put on the heating before we travel to Germany. What can be the problem? It seems to be the provider in Holland. Have we to do something there??

We bought the wireless Heatmiser especially for using it in Holland, also for the guessts in Germany, to give them a 'warm' welcome. But untill now it is a useless investment.

    We hope

neoHub and frost setting for holiday home

Steve Chapman · 4 replies · Last reply by Steve Chapman

I have setup a neoHub in a holiday home which is left empty for long periods in the winter. I would like to raise the target temperature so that it is warm when we arrive however the only way I can see to do this is have all the neoStats set to a frost setting. The minimum appears to be 7 deg C which is way too high, the heat will be coming on all the time while we are away. I there no way just to turn the heating off remotely, or set a lower frost temperature?

    Error enabling GeoLocation

GadgetBazza · 2 replies · Last reply by GadgetBazza

I have a Neo Hub, 2 floor stats and a neo plug which have been working nicely for a while.  I now want to enable the GeoLocation facilities of the system.

When I use the iOS app and try to enable the GeoLocation services, I get an error - "Error Background App Refresh is denied." and get returned to the main app home screen.

Can you please let me know what I need to do to get past this?

What's the best way to use underfloor heating when the central heating is constantly on 18 degrees?

Michael · 1 reply · Last reply by Steve

We have our central heating set to be on contimnuously, on our builders' advice, at 18 degrees - however this means it never gets cold enough for our underfloor heating to come on in the kitchen/dining room. We have engineered wood floors, so don't want to blast too much heat from underfloor, but a bit of warmth underfoot would be nice over the winter...
